Sunshine Glitterchild is an up and coming drag queen in our fair city of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. When the video below was taken, doctors had told his family that his grandma didn’t have much time left, so to cheer her up he brought a drag show to her in palliative care, performing “You are the Sunshine of my Life.” To Sunshine’s surprise, the video went viral on all platforms, with an interview on The National and mention on ET Canada.

Doing drag his way, Sunshine Glitterchild inspires others to be themselves and have the courage to just go for it, and it has served him well. When you do what is right, in your gut, it benefits you and those in that moment, with the universal energy backing you all the way.

Following his heart and with much love for his grandma, he brought a lot of light, to a very difficult life event.

Sunshine’s grandma passed away shortly after this video aired.
